  1. The setting of the mutiny on the bounty is in England, Tahiti, the open seas, and on an island

  2. The setting creates meaning to me because the setting is very well showed/described in the movie. The setting is on the sea and in a boat most of the time. I also like the ocean and they were on the ocean the whole time so that is how it created meaning for me.

  3. Well I think that if it wasn't at sea it wouldn't be a very good storyline, because how would they have taken over a ship on land?
But if it was on land it would be really funny
    when the ship sank!

  4. The setting of Mutiny on the Bounty creates meaning for me because if it was mordern day times, it wouldnt make sense. It also wouldnt make sense if they sailed to america for example. If the setting wasnt on a ship, the entire story line wouldnt make sense and it wouldnt be the same story. The background information and the extra information makes it very interesting.

  5. The setting creates meaning for me because it has effects that wouldn't make sense in any other story except this one. It also makes details for the movie which makes it more interesting. An example is that in Tahiti they had a tropical feel which made the setting tropical and actually gave off that free feeling that the sailors tried to show in the movie.

  6. The setting of Mutiny on the Bounty creates meaning for me, the viewer because if it weren't on a ship, it wouldn't make any sense. The features on the ship would be different as opposed to the setting on a house(some other setting). For example, when they reached the doldrums, they had to sail by themselves and that wouldn't really fit into any other setting.

  7. The main setting was when they were on the sea and all that stuff.

  8. the setting of the movie creates meaning to me because without the setting the story wouldn't really have any meaning to it. Also if the setting wasn't at the ocean than the story wouldn't really make sence

  9. Mutiny on the Bounty gives an idea of how a boat on the sea is almost a country of its own an the captin is the king. And that the captin is your sheriff, jury, and judge. He can make or he can break you.

  12. The setting creates meaning for me because there are features that could only happen where the setting is. For example, when they are on the ship. Some of the people took over the ship and sent the rest of the people out to sea. obviously that could only happen on a ship. Also when they are in Tahiti there is a free type feel meaning that everyone is free to do what they want so that changed some things that happened. if it hadn't been so free someone might have started a riot!

  13. The setting of "Mutiny on the Bounty" is the Bounty (boat), England, the sea, and the islands of Tahiti. These are good setttings because the Bounty is from England. That is how England connects to be a setting. The Bounty also travels to Tahiti. Which is how Tahiti connects to be a setting. The sea is also a good setting because how would they travel by boat if there wasn't a sea to travel on!

  14. The setting of "Mutiny on the Bounty" creates meaning for me, because if it wasn't on a ship,it wouldn't have made sense. It also wouldn't have made sense, if they were sailing to America, instead of Tahiti. Just the ship sailing in the sea to Tahiti was great, but they also visited many other islands, which caused the people to be brave.
Not just the setting, but the whole story had great meaning for me.

  15. It creaates it by how its out in the sea and all you see is ocean . Another thing is how the waves rock the ship back and forth and even though its a movie it kinda makes me....sea sick . The last thing is when they get on the island its happy and sunny and they have kids and stuff,That it BYE!!!!!!

  16. The setting of Mutiny on the bounty is important because the sea is the main setting. This allows them to sail and makes the punishments more vivid.

  18. The setting of the Mutiny on the Bounty is kind of all over the place. It starts in England But they start sailing to Tahiti for Breadfruit. When they have enough of Bligh's cruel treatment to the seamen. They sail back to Tahiti after taking over the Bounty and some get married to Tahitian women.

  19. Well I would say the setting of this story creates eanging for me because since the setting of the story is in England and thats why they had english accents during the movie. Also in the setting they where in the sea and thats why they where in a boat. Next in the middle of the story, there was a storm which was the cause of them to try to save themselfs. Also they went to Tahiti to gather breadfruit so the setting in the movie was also Tahiti and that creates meaning to me because probobly back then they mustave been there main product to give away so maybe they went there to get some. Then in the middle of the story there was no wind so the setting there was not windy and so it made them need to send people to go on a little ship and find a windy setting. So thats how the setting of the story creates meaning to me while I was reading.

  20. the setting makes meaning because it shows that the captian was cruel and was unfair so they took the captian ship for his harsh treatment

  21. It creates meaning to me because the setting is in England and Tahiti. It takes first in England to gather men to set sail to Tahiti to gather bread fruit. On the way to Tahiti they face many bad storms and wave surges. When they got to Tahiti they gathered bread fruit and got married to Tahiti woman. Some of them stayed and some to England to return bread fruit. On the way they get most of the slaves and kick off the people that were mean to them on a life boat. Then they go back to Tahiti to start their lives. After a while they left Tahiti and went to England.

  23. RED19: I think you should add more information on what the setting is and how it relates to the story.

  24. I think the setting is something like a boat?

  25. "Red2" that does make sense that there wouldn't be a movie if it wasn't for the setting. The movie would just be boring if they were not on a boat.

  26. TRed2:
I agree that the background and extra information made it more interesting. It wouldn't have been very detailed, if they just said "that" island, or something like that.
