a geenerilazation is that back then people where not sgregated but still seprate by class and color. otherwise they would let zacharhia do more then just cook. aslo they wouldnt have kept calling her MISS Doyle, theyed say like then do now charlotte. an infrence is that they belive caption jaggery during trial. that it was either charrlote or zacharhia. not the caption like i belived it would be from the very begining. and a conclusion is that no one can trust or belive charlotte anymore. as of where i am in the story.

I can generalize that the crew will agree with Charlotte because they like her better than the captain.
I can draw that charllote is really angry and is scared. Im sure that she wants get of the ship and expose Jaggery for his crimes.

You can make many inferences, conclusions and generalizations about the story "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle". One inference you can make, at the beginning of the stoy is, that she does not want to go on the voyage on the Seahawk. I can infer this because she is trying to convince mr. Grummage that it is not safe to go on the Seahawk. A generalization, that you can make shotly after the yoyage begins, is that really none of the crew like Captian Jaggery. This is so because Zachariah tells Charlotte how horrible Jaggery was to the crew on their last voyage. And lastly I can make a conclusion, after Zachariah tells her this, that something will happen aboard ship that makes her finally believe him. I think this because since the crew hate him so much, they will do something to make him mad and he won't be so nice anymore. These are just a few inferences, conclusions and generalizations you can make about "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle".
ReplyDeleteI CAN CONCLUDE THAT CHARLOTTE AND THE CREW TOOK OVER THE SHIP AND THAT CHARLOTTE WAS BROUGHT UP IN A CLASSY COMMUNITY AND WAS ALWAYS TOLD TO ONLY ASSOCIATE WITH PEOPLE OF HER CLASS AND NO OTHER. I CAN MAKE A GENERLIZATION THAT THE CREW IS BELOW HER AND THAT HER DAD DIDN'T REALLY CARE THAT SHE WENT ON THE TRIP WITHOUT A PROPER CHAPERON. I THINK THAT OVERALL CHARLOTTE DIDN'T REALLY TAKE TO THE CREW BECAUSE SHE WAS ALWAYS TOLD GORWING UP NOT TO TALK TO THOSES KIND OF PEOPLE SO AT FIRST SHE DIDN'T LIKE THEM BUT SOON SHE RELIZED THAT THEY WERE QUIET ALIKE♥
ReplyDeleteInferences... Charlotte will probally be found gulity, because the catian doesn't like Charlotte because she struck him with the whip.
ReplyDeleteDawing conclusion... the conculsion will probally get out of being hung because she is telling the story of what happend... so she will get out of it some how.
Making generalization... Some of the crew might defend her, but some may not... so it might be harder to get out of being hung then she thinks.
Inferences-I can infer that Captian Jaggery will be severly punished and that Charlotte is happy that Jaggery got what he deserved.
ReplyDeleteAnother inference that I can make is that Charlotte's father is happy to see her safe and sound.
Conclusions-I can conclude that Charlotte will try not to get into a whole bunch of trouble like she did on the boat, and that Charlotte will make it off the ship alive because she will become captian.
Generalizations-I think that the crew can agree that Charlotte is better than Jaggery.
We have been reading a book called "The true confessions of Charlotte Doylle." We are currently learning about inferences, conclusions, and generalizations. I can draw many conclusions,inferences,and generalizations from the book. I can infer that Mr.Doylle will not like the path Charlotte has taken.I can infer that because he is a gentalman, and Charlotte was raised to be a proper young lady.
ReplyDeleteI can make an inference that Charlotte dosn't think very good about captain Jaggery anymore because of all of the trouble that is being stirred up on the ship. I can also make a generalization that hardly no one on the ship likes Captain Jaggery. I can conclude that the ship is going to be stirred up with trouble.!!
ReplyDeleteI can conclude that Charlotte was a proper and a gentle women until Zachariah was whipped to death and she wanted to take his place so now she is part of the crew and that she was blamed for the murder of Mr.Hollybrass, even though she didn't do it. Then she finds out that zacariah is alive. I can infer that charlotte is going to be taken to trial and she is going to have to face the judge! My prediction is that Captain Jaggery will be guilty and Charlotte will be set free.

ReplyDeleteI can infer that Zachariah is going to save Charlotte right before she is hanged. I can infer that because Zachariah is friends with Charlotte. I can conclude that captain Jaggery hates Charlotte because he wants to hang her. A generalization that the crew likes Zachariah because they are trying to protect him
ReplyDeleteI can conclude that Charlotte goes through a big change in the story. At first Charlotte was very proper and only did what others wanted her to, but now she is feels free to do whatever she wants to. I can infer that her father will not be very happy with her when she gets home because he is a very proper gentelman and Charlotte was not acting very lady-like on the ship. One generalization is that all of the sipmates were loyal to eachoter always. Charlotte became a shipmate and no one except for Zachariah was loyal to her after she was accused of killing Mr. Hollybrass.
